Journalist and Visual Artist
My name is Alejandra and I'm a Peruvian bilingual journalist and visual artist based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
I have experience covering several beats including social justice, entertainment and politics.
I currently work as an assistant podcast producer at iHeartMedia and freelance journalist for several outlets including  Latino-focused publication Palabra NAHJ.
On top of my journalism work, I co-authored a children's book and I'm illustrating a sci-fi graphic novel with tentative release date Spring 2022.
Whenever I'm not writing, drawing or photographing, you can find me biking around the city or playing with my cat Mochi.
